Every platform grades its own ads
Meta and Google each count the leads and sales their ads touched, by their own rules. Together they can claim more than you got, so your budget can follow their claims.
Which ad brings your leads
Your count next to Meta's and Google's, when the visitor said yes.
| Ad | Meta | Your site | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Leads | Per lead | Leads | Per lead | |
| Video: customer story | 75 | €40 | 60 | €50 |
| Photo: spring discount | 125 | €24 | 40 | €75 |
| Campaign | 200 | €30 | 100 | €60 |
By Meta's count, the photo ad is the cheaper one, at €24 a lead. By your own count, the video ad is cheaper: €50 against €75. That's where your marketer moves the budget.
Your site sees clicks, not views, and ties a lead to an ad only when the visitor said yes.
Google Ads per campaign, Meta down to each ad. For a shop, with revenue.
Ad platforms chase what you count
Meta says it shows your ads to the people most likely to take the action you ask for.3 Google says its bidding can use AI to optimize for conversions.4
That works for ads your marketer can point at your own count.
-
Works with Meta and Google
From its server, Sightwick can send your leads and sales to Google Ads, TikTok and ChatGPT Ads, when the visitor said yes. Meta can get them on Shopify, or when our scan finds no Meta pixel of yours.
-
Three actions, one lead
A quote request, a phone click and a brochure in one visit are one lead. By default, Sightwick passes that on as one conversion.
-
Job applications stay out
By default, Sightwick passes on no job applications and no visitors who leave at once. So ads pointed at your own count don't chase job seekers.
-
A booked meeting weighs more
Each kind of lead gets an estimated value, so a booked meeting counts for more than an email click. Google says value bidding can run on estimates like a lead score.5
Leads found without building tags
-
Forms, buttons and bookings found
Our scan finds your forms, phone and WhatsApp buttons, and booking and chat tools like Calendly and HubSpot. Embeds like Typeform and Intercom need a hand.
-
Leads from WhatsApp and phone
A tap on your WhatsApp or phone button counts as a lead, with the ad behind it, when the visitor said yes. It counts the tap, not the call.
-
A lost form gets noticed
Google says a tag removed by accident can leave conversions untracked.6 Sightwick scans your site every week, and a form missing from two scans in a row shows up on the dashboard.
What your marketer does
-
Adds one line
Our script goes in your site's head. On Shopify, plus one custom pixel.
-
Picks what counts
Our scan lists your forms and buttons. Your marketer picks the ones that matter.
-
Connects your ads
Links your ad accounts and tags the links of new ads, so running ads stay as they are. Your count per ad covers the ads with these links, when the visitor said yes. We help connect Meta.
What changes for you
- Your part
- Approve the setup, and tell your marketer what a new customer is worth to you.
- Your tools
- Keep GA4 and your Meta pixel. Sightwick adds your own count of leads and sales.
- Your visitors
- Your cookie banner decides. No banner? Then by default no lead is tied to an ad. Visitors who say no to cookies still count in your total, anonymously, but not toward any ad. Nothing about them goes to an ad platform, and what Sightwick stores stays in the EU.
- Your money
- After the free trial, the price follows your site's traffic: €199 a month excl. VAT covers 10k events, then €16 per extra 1k. A page view, lead or other measured action is one event. Cancel any month. See plans and prices
