Each lead type counted separately

A quote request is not an email click. Sightwick keeps them apart, from the scan to your reports.

  • The Leads screen shows how each lead came in, such as Quote request or WhatsApp click.
  • Next to it: the ad platform and campaign, when the visitor said yes.
  • The campaign comes from utm_campaign in your ad links.

On Conversion actions, you switch each lead type on or off by itself.

A phone click is a tap on your number, not a call made. A WhatsApp click is not a message sent. The screen says so next to each one.

A value per lead type

Email us your deal value and close rate. Each lead gets that, times a weight per action.

A booked meeting weighs 1.00, a quote request 0.90 and an email click 0.35. These weights are our own assumptions.

Until you send your numbers, a new site starts from our estimate: €5,000 times 0.2, so €1,000 per lead. A quote request is then worth €900.

Or type your own amount per action.

Each lead that reaches Google Ads carries that value as its conversion value.

Forms and buttons found for you

The scan reads 25 pages of your site by default, in a real browser. Pages such as contact, quote, demo and pricing go first. It finds:

  • Quote, demo, contact and callback forms
  • Phone, email and WhatsApp buttons
  • Calendly, Cal.com, HubSpot and SavvyCal booking widgets
  • HubSpot, Drift, Tawk.to and Trengo chat

A booking or a started chat in one of these then counts by itself.

Each find shows its evidence and a score. A low score adds a "May break" note.

A find can start switched on and still say "May break". Check those first: open Evidence to see the piece of your page it was found on.

What it found on our site

On 21 September 2026 the scan read 9 pages of sightwick.com in 29 seconds. Nobody tagged anything by hand.

  • 3 conversion types: a contact form, trial sign-ups and email links
  • 5 supporting signals
  • 6 kinds of noise, kept apart

The form on our call page was filed as a contact form, with a low score. That is the kind of find to check by hand.

One visit, one conversion sent

A visitor asks for a quote, taps your email and downloads your brochure. All in one visit.

By default, only the most valuable of the three goes to your ad platforms, when the visitor said yes. Here, that is the quote request. They get one lead, not three.

Sightwick waits a little before a conversion leaves, in case a more valuable one follows in the same visit.

The other two still show in your own reports. A visit ends after 30 minutes without activity.

Your pixel and tag stay put

Sightwick runs next to your Meta pixel and your Google tag. They keep counting as before.

The first win is in your own dashboard: the platform and campaign behind each lead, when the visitor said yes.

Meta next to your pixel

Outside Shopify, sending to Meta stays off if the scan finds your own Meta pixel. The screen says why.

To change that, ask us.

On Shopify, linking Meta does switch sending on, also next to your own pixel.

Connect Google Ads after the scan. It is a Google sign-in and one account choice, with no IDs or labels to copy.

Why after the scan? A lead type found later does not get its own action by itself.

Each lead type switched on at that moment gets its own conversion action, such as "Sightwick: Quote request".

  • Google sorts actions into categories. Demo, contact and callback forms share one. So do WhatsApp, email and chat.
  • In a category without a primary action, one new Sightwick action starts primary. The others start secondary.
  • Already a primary action in that category? Then all of ours start secondary.
  • Google only bids on a secondary action once you make it primary or add it to a custom goal.
  • Your tag may count the same form in another category. Then both can be primary.

After connecting, check Goals in Google Ads. Keep one primary action per form.

Know when a form disappears

Every week, Sightwick scans your site again and compares it with the last scan.

A form missing from two scans in a row gets one more check of its page.

Still gone? It is switched off and shown at the top of your dashboard. Popups and login forms stay on.

What Sightwick can't do

  • The scan can misread a form. Check its list before you connect Google Ads.
  • The scan cannot tell what a thank-you page means. Add it under Add a page on Conversion actions and pick its lead type. A lead type the scan already found cannot also take a page.
  • Typeform, video and other booking or chat tools are found, not counted by themselves.
  • Sightwick sees the tap on your number or WhatsApp button, not the conversation after it.
  • Without a yes on the cookie banner, a lead only counts in your totals. It is not on Leads and goes to no ad platform.
  • For now, we connect Meta with you on a call.
  • Until Google completes its review of our app, Google sign-in shows an "unverified app" warning.

Start with your own scan

  1. Sign up with your website. The scan runs while you install.
  2. Paste one line in your site's head. On Shopify, add one custom pixel under Customer events too.
  3. Check what the scan found. Switch off anything it misread, and add the thank-you page of any form it missed.
  4. Email us your deal value and close rate, or type an amount per action.
  5. Put a campaign name in your ad links (utm_campaign).
  6. Connect Google Ads, then check Goals there.
